W@W Bridal Blowout at Fernwoods!!!

...jon n i just got back from fernwoods and the place was so beautiful!!! and we had FUN!!! sobra!!!

we got there before noon and the first thing we saw was the booth of emil buencamino... we saw marie and she recognized us and told us to have our photos taken there by the carriage... well, that's what we intended to do... Ü but we proceeded by the registration table first... After we got our stubs and had our mug shot takenÜ (for identification purposes), I went to have my trial MU --- I got Clamar --- but i was told i'm no. 8 and to go back after 15 minutes... So, we went around first and saw the different photographers stationed around the gardens... we saw some couples having their pre-nups and mejo na-excite naman ako for our turn!!!Ü we ate lunch first then I got back to Clamar's booth... we had to wait for a few more minutes (while Jon ate a cone of ice cream -- he was so cute!Ü) and then, it was my turn! Joann was very nice and she complimented my eyes... most importantly, i liked what she did to my face (Jon did, too)... I got their contact numbers of course, and i just myt consider them on December... :)

PRE-NUPS NA!!! Ü

..We got Dino Lara, Jorge Maniquis, Ariel Javelosa and Richie Mascarinas for our photogs. The first booth we visited was Dino's (Lover's Lane)... He was smiling as always and he made us very at ease while he took shot after shot... I especially liked it when he told me to hug Jon very tight and showed me how to... he was really very nice... He showed us the pictures after the shoot and they were great..! We thanked him and procceded to the next pictorial...Ü

Jorge Maniquis' booth was called Touch My Birdie... Perched atop a driftwood was a yellow and blue macaw which Jorge used for the background of the pics... He showed us where to stand, where to place our hands and even how to smileÜ... He's good and we're lucky enough that we were among the first ones to be given the copies of the pics immediately in a CD!

Next stop was at Richie Mascarinas' booth... He has this signature shot which includes a FRAME... I realized that every couple does the same poses for the shoot... but nevertheless, we enjoyed posing with the frame.Ü He was nice and I never saw the smile wipe away from his face althroughout the day... (When the day was almost over, he even offered to take our picture from our camera when he saw Jon setting the timer up...) What more can i say - he's great! Ü

We had our last stub for Ariel Javelosa's booth -- the Swan Lake. Among all the photographers who had our pics taken, Jon said that he was most at ease and most comfortable with Ariel. I have to agree...Ü He took time to explain what he's doing... He was fun and very good at the same time...

Fortunately for us, we didn't get Emil's name coz we expected to have our pre-nups taken at Emil Buencamino's booth -- with or without a stub. Of course, it's one of the perks of getting them for our photo-video!Ü Mang Emil wasn't there (although Marie said he dropped by early morning)... only his son and the wife of his son (ack! i forgot her name!)... She was the one who took our pics in the horse carriage and Marie promised us she will give us our cd copy next time we drop by their office...

There!!! ... we thought we were done as it was already 3pm... we walked around fernwood gardens and had our pics (and short videos) taken in our cam... and then we saw fol rana's booth on the other side of the garden...It was called HAVE Some Grass (picnic setting)... As we were looking at the couple who was having their pre-nups taken (it looked like they were havin so much fun), the assistant asked us if we want our pre-nups taken too... I sadly told him we didn't have their stub. He answered me that it was ok and he will allow us to have it for free!! Yipee!!! Galing galing!!! In no time at all, we were already posing for Fol and his other assistant... They were very good, i must say... (kaya lang, mejo nahirapan na ata mag-smile hunny ko coz Fol asked him twice ata to smile with his teeth showing... heheheÜ ...but we had fun!!! This is the art poster of Fol with all the 42 couples he took shots of. Ü

We went around once more and saw more gardens and more breathtaking sceneries around... of course, we took pictures of all these and more...

After a few hours of waiting (and more pictures shot), it was time for the w@w awards night and dinner! we rode the shuttle to get to the car to get my blouse for the evening (syempre naman, change costume dapat!) ...after i've freshen up (i'm surprised my MU was still okay --- just a little touch-up) and dressed, we went to the registration table to have our names checked... WE got more freebies plus they gave me a flower of my choice (a red carnation) and proceeded to the Coral Tree Garden... The place was so beautiful with all the lights, decorations, food and the beautiful people there... I felt Love in the air!!! Jon n I sat in one of the empty round tables there and admired the table settings of Juan Carlo the Caterer. We were both famished already as we eagerly await for the program to start... We were both surprised when the ladies from the other table approached us and asked us to join their table... babait talaga ng w@wies!!! And although we were both shy, we couldn't refuse their invitation... The 3 couples at the table were Clarice n Bernard, Aileen n Matthew, n Joanna n Rey (one more couple joined us -- their names escaped my mind as of the moment). They were all nice and after a few more chit-chats, the program started already. We did not have to wait long as we were invited to eat the bountiful dinner arranged for us almost immediately... We sampled the food of Juan Carlo and for our second serving, JOSIAH'S.. The food was so delicious... Grabe!!! ...And to top it all off, we sampled the cake of Alex Franco's!!! The slice was huge and so sinful!!! I finally got to taste what i only often heard about in the w@wies discussions... We're definitely ordering his cake on our wedding!!! Ü

As the top ten suppliers were called, AVPs after AVPs shown on the screen (Jason MAGBANUA's video was really exceptional!!! waaaahhhh!!!!), and eventually, the top supplier --- GUESS WHO? It was Alex Franco who won!!! Ü --- awarded, we were so content and happy with the way this day went... It was truly an experience of a lifetime...And to think we didn't have to spend a single centavo for the event! And we just had to thank John n Benz for everything... (and we did!Ü)...

We're so excited to get all the PRE-NUPS pics!!!
